How to Book

In Katharsis is a private, appointment-only tattoo studio and creative space.

Each artist works independently and manages their own bookings, availability, pricing, deposits, design process and client communication.

To keep everything clear and organised, tattoo appointments, consultations and quote requests are only accepted through the booking link on each artist’s page. They are not accepted through Messenger, Instagram DM, text message or casual conversation.

If you are only requesting a quote, please still complete the booking form for your chosen artist and provide as much information as possible.

Step 1: Choose Your Artist

Before submitting a request, take some time to look through each artist’s work and choose the person whose style and strengths feel best suited to your idea. You can learn more about each artist, view their work and access their individual booking form through the Our Artists page.

If we feel your idea may be better suited to another artist within the studio, we may gently guide you in that direction. This is not a rejection. It simply means we want to connect you with the artist best suited to your tattoo.

Step 2: Use the Correct Booking Form

Once you have chosen your artist, click the booking button on their page.
This will take you to the correct form for that artist. Please make sure you use the right form, as each artist manages their bookings separately.

Booking forms keep all the important information together and allow your artist to properly understand and review your request. Social media messages can easily become lost or separated from important details, which is why they are not treated as official booking or quote requests.

Step 3: Complete the Form

Please complete the booking form as clearly, accurately and honestly as possible.
The form will guide you through the information your artist needs, including your tattoo idea, placement, approximate size, style
and reference images.

Taking the time to complete the form properly helps your artist check whether the project is suitable, consider the time required and respond to you clearly.

Step 4: Allow Time for a Reply

Once your form has been submitted, please allow time for your artist to review it.
Each artist works independently, so response times may vary depending on their workload, current bookings and availability.
Please avoid sending the same request through multiple places, as this can make communication more difficult to manage.

Step 5: Your Artist Will Guide You

If your request is suitable, your artist will contact you directly with the next steps.
This may include a quote, suggested session, consultation, deposit details or available appointment options.
Submitting a booking form does not automatically guarantee an appointment. Your booking is only confirmed once your artist has accepted your request, offered an appointment and received the required deposit.

This will help you understand the booking process and general studio expectations before moving forward.
You are always welcome to follow and support our artists through social media, but all tattoo appointments, consultations and quote requests must be submitted through the  booking form.
