About Shaun

Shaun, also known as SON_OV_KRYPTON, is a tattoo artist with more than 15 years of experience, working from In Katharsis in Mildura, Victoria.

Throughout his career, Shaun has worked both locally and in Melbourne, building his experience across a wide range of tattoo styles.

Shaun offers a broad range of tattooing, with a particular focus on traditional, neo traditional, blackwork and anime styles. He enjoys working closely with his clients to develop personalised designs that reflect their ideas and individual interests. His work ranges from black and grey to bold colour, and from smaller, detailed pieces through to larger projects.

Strong design, flow, contrast and composition are important parts of Shaun’s work. Each tattoo is carefully considered to suit the client, the placement and the way the design moves with the body. He values taking the time to properly understand each idea so the finished tattoo feels personal, balanced and created to last.

After more than 15 years in the industry, Shaun remains passionate about creating strong, individual artwork and giving his clients tattoos they can feel proud to wear for years to come.

Shaun and Jake may also offer collaborative tattoo sessions for selected large scale pieces.
