How to Book

In Katharsis is a private, appointment-only tattoo studio and creative space.

The studio is home to independent tattoo artists who each manage their own bookings, availability, pricing, design process and client communication.

To keep everything organised and fair for both clients and artists, tattoo bookings are only accepted through the correct booking form or booking link found on each artist’s page.

Bookings are not taken through Messenger, Instagram DM, text message or casual conversation.

Step 1: Choose Your Artist

Before submitting a booking request, please take a moment to look through each artist’s work.

Each artist at In Katharsis has their own style, strengths, process and way of working. Choosing the artist whose work feels most aligned with your tattoo idea helps make the process smoother from the beginning.

You can view each artist through their individual page on the website.

Step 2: Use the Booking Button on Their Page

Once you have chosen the artist you would like to book with, go to their page and click their booking button.

This will take you to the correct booking form or booking link for that artist.

Please make sure you are using the right form, as each artist manages their own bookings separately.

Step 3: Complete the Booking Form

Please fill out the booking form as clearly and honestly as possible.

The form will guide you through the information your artist needs to properly review your tattoo request.

Taking the time to complete the form properly helps keep the booking process clear, organised and easier for everyone.

Step 4: Wait for a Reply

Once your form has been submitted, please allow time for your artist to review your request.

Each artist works independently and may reply at different times depending on their workload, current bookings and availability.

Please be patient and avoid sending the same request through multiple places, as this can make communication harder to manage.

Step 5: Your Artist Will Guide You From There

If your request is suitable, your artist will contact you directly with the next steps.

This may include a quote, session suggestion, consultation, deposit details or available appointment options.

Your booking is not confirmed until your artist has accepted the request, offered an appointment and your required deposit has been paid.

Choosing the Right Artist

Please choose the artist whose work feels most suited to your tattoo idea.

Each artist at In Katharsis brings their own experience, style and creative approach to tattooing.

If your idea feels better suited to another artist within the studio, we may gently guide you in that direction. This is not a rejection. It simply means we want you to be matched with the person who can best support the tattoo you are wanting.

Booking Through the Correct Process Matters

Booking forms are used so all important information is kept in one place.

This helps your artist properly review your idea, understand what you are asking for, check suitability, consider timing and keep communication clear.

Messages sent through social media can easily get missed, buried or separated from important details, which is why bookings are not taken through Messenger or DM.

Please Do Not Send Booking Requests Through Messenger or DM

You are welcome to follow, support and connect with the artists through social media, but tattoo booking requests must go through the correct booking button on the website.

Messages through Messenger, Instagram or Facebook may not be treated as official booking requests.

To be considered for an appointment, please use the correct booking form.

This helps make sure you understand deposits, preparation, design changes, aftercare, rescheduling and general studio expectations, so the booking process can run as smoothly as possible.
