Shaun Fenn

Shaun, also known as SON_OV_KRYPTON, is a professional tattoo artist working from In Katharsis in Mildura, Victoria, with over 15 years of experience in the tattoo industry.

Over the years, Shaun has worked locally and in Melbourne, building his experience across a wide range of tattoo styles, client projects and creative environments.

Shaun offers a broad range of tattooing, with a main focus on traditional application, neo traditional, blackwork and anime styles. He enjoys working with clients to plan and create personalised designs that reflect their individual interests, whether the piece is black and grey, colour, bold, detailed, simple or large scale.

His work is guided by strong design elements such as flow, contrast and composition, with each tattoo created to suit the client, the placement and the overall artwork. Shaun values taking the time to understand each idea properly so the finished piece feels personal, balanced and made to last.

Shaun’s goal is to create tattoos his clients can feel proud to wear for years to come.

Shaun and Jake may also offer collaborative tattoo sessions for selected large-scale pieces. These sessions involve both artists tattooing at the same time, allowing larger work to be completed in less time. This can make bigger projects more efficient and, in some cases, more affordable.
Collaborative pieces are considered case-by-case and depend on the design, placement, availability, and whether the project is suited to both artists working together.
