One of the most sacred ritual instruments in Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
This intricately carved brass bell, known as a Drilbu, features a Vajra-shaped handle and produces a resonant tone believed to clear mental obstacles, invite spiritual presence, and mark the beginning and end of prayer or meditation.
Traditionally paired with a Dorje, a small metal sceptre held in the right hand representing compassion and indestructible clarity, while the bell is held in the left hand representing wisdom. Together they symbolise the perfect balance of these two forces. Both sold separately in our store, though they are rarely far apart.
Ring gently at the start and close of your practice and let the sound settle before you begin.
A beautiful piece for the dedicated practitioner or a deeply meaningful gift. Approx 13cm.
